Celebrate creativity and community at Artfest, in Esplanade Park! This two-day festival showcases the vibrant work of emerging and local artists, artisans, independent authors, and performers, offering something for everyone.
Enjoy live performances, explore a diverse artisan vendor market, and discover unique finds at The Pickering Garden Club Sale. Savour delicious offerings from a variety of food trucks and immerse yourself in engaging activities for both kids and adults.
This year’s festivities are extra special as we celebrate Pickering’s 25th Anniversary with the theme, "25 Years of Creative Roots," a tribute to the city’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. Join us for a weekend of creativity, connection, and celebration!

Photos and video may be recorded at this event by designated City photographers & videographers. These materials may be used in future City of Pickering education, advertising, and other internal/external promotions, without compensation.

For the safety of all attendees, we encourage any dogs that do not do well with people, crowds, loud noises, or other dogs to be left at home.
Please note, all dogs entering any City event must comply with the Responsible Pet Ownership By-law (6811/07) and the Dog Owners Liability Act.
Dogs that have characteristics similar to a Pit Bull (under the act) must wear a muzzle.

Artisans can now apply to participate in Artfest as a vendor! Join us as Esplanade Park is filled with creativity for this arts-themed event.
The participation fee is waived for students and independent authors.
Artist/Artisan applications must include photos (minimum of 3, maximum of 5) to provide examples of items that will be at your booth. Applications of independent authors must include a writing sample.
Applications must be received by March 20, 2025 at 4:30pm
