869 ha/2,147 acres Brock Industrial Park supports a wide range of industrial sectors with a strong representation from the Energy, Environmental and Engineering industries. Ontario Power Generation is the largest employer, currently operating the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station at the foot of Brock Road. There are a wide range of manufacturing facilities together with a mix of retail, personal service, warehousing, construction industry and trucking. Non-industrial uses include a fire station, an arena, a soccer dome as well as some community shopping located primarily around the intersection of Brock Road and Bayly Street. |

21 ha/52 acres Whites Road Prestige Business Park supports a range of industrial sectors in manufacturing, distribution, R&D and warehousing, as well as head office commercial, a regional call centre and a public storage facility. Land use is prestige industrial with no outdoor storage of materials. Built form includes free standing plants and offices, as well as multi-unit light industrial and office space. Industrial sectors includes, electronics importing and distribution, musical instrument and sound system manufacturing and distribution, packaged food import and distribution, parts assembly, printing, solar pv system design & installation. |

The Innovation Corridor is located at the north boundary of Ontario’s largest new greenfield community of Seaton, now under construction in central Pickering; bordered by Highway 7 to the north, Brock Road to the east, Highway 407 to the south and near the City of Markham border to the west. Lands are less than a day’s drive from 5 US border crossings and less than an hour from Pearson International Airport. Lands directly adjacent to the Innovation Corridor are designated for a future airport. |

324 ha/800 acres Lands are largely owned by the Province of Ontario. Servicing has started and construction is underway in the Innovation Corridor. Lands to be developed as guided by the Central Pickering Development Plan and are reserved for prestige employment uses. Purchase of lands to be negotiated with City of Pickering or the Province of Ontario. A resident to job creation ratio of 2:1 is targeted for the Seaton Community, projecting 70,000 residents and 35,000 jobs. Approximately 24,000 jobs are anticipated for the Innovation Corridor. |
