Proposal

The City of Pickering is proposing amendments to correct omissions and clarify provisions in the
City's Consolidated Zoning By-law 8149/24.

The following corrections are being proposed:

  • Clarifying minimum side yard setback for Residential First Density Zones
  • Carry forward minimum exterior side yard setbacks for Residential First Density Zones
  • Carry forward maximum building height requirement for the Agriculture Zone
  • Exempt freehold townhouses from the required common outdoor amenity areas
