Notice of Public Information Centre - City Centre Transportation Master Plan

The City of Pickering is preparing the City Centre Transportation Master Plan to identify transportation needs and challenges within the City’s downtown core for future intensification over a 10-year and 20-year development horizon. The study is assessing the multi-modal travel needs of the redevelopment plans, road network operations within the study area, and transit, bicycle, and pedestrian networks to identify future transportation infrastructure needs. The assessment incorporates new and planned development within the study area (see below), including but not limited to, the comprehensive revitalization of The Shops at Pickering City Centre (formerly Pickering Town Centre) shopping mall lands.

Get Involved

Public input is essential to the success of this project. You are invited to attend a Public Information Centre to learn more about the study findings to date and provide your feedback on the proposed directions for the transportation network in the City Centre area. City staff and the Consulting Team will be present to discuss the project and answer any questions. The meeting will be held on:
