Volunteer at the Village

Do you love the Museum and our amazing programs? Are you interested in cooking, woodworking, gardening, or just helping out with events?

If the answer is yes…we have many fun, interesting and challenging things for you to do, year ‘round.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Submit an application form
  • Once we have received your application we will ask you to:
    • Upload 2 reference letters to your volunteer profile
    • Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (16 years and over). Please do not apply for a Vulnerable Sector Check ahead of time as we must provide you with a letter for your application.
  • Attend Volunteer Orientation
  • Start volunteering! 

Please note there may be additional training required dependent on volunteer role.

Students – have fun and earn your hours for graduation!

If you are 14 years of age, you can volunteer as an individual or with your friends. If you are under 14 and would like to volunteer as a family, please contact Amber Cockburn, Coordinator, Volunteer Services at volunteers@pickering.ca.
