Bruce Handscomb Memorial Park
This neighbourhood park is located on the west shore of Frenchman's Bay, on Breezy Drive north of Oklahoma Drive.
Providing access to the waterfront, this park is a popular location for children's play, fishing, walking and includes a section of the City of Pickering's Waterfront Trail connecting pedestrians to other key waterfront points of interest.
Facilities Include

About Bruce Handscomb
Bruce Arthur Handscomb was a long time resident of Pickering who rendered valuable service to the community through outstanding volunteer, community work, cultural and sports achievement.
He was instrumental in the development of various sports activities and youth groups in Pickering (specifically baseball, softball, ringette, hockey and boy scouts), and received recognition over the years for his volunteer service and leadership in the community.
Awards include:
- Civic Award in 1977/78 Community Volunteer, Ratepayers Association
- Leadership and volunteering from the Ringette Association and the Softball Association.
