The Stormwater Management Facility K-16 construction project, located within the Krosno Creek watershed, was identified in the 2009 Frenchman’s Bay Watersheds Stormwater Management Master Plan as an opportunity to improve water quality control. The purpose of the facility is to provide the highest level of stormwater treatment achievable within the limits of the available area. A Public Information Centre will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Temporary Road Closure – North Road between Hwy #7 and Churchwin Street. Enterprise
Gateway between Whites Road and Whitevale Road.
Duration: Monday, April 6, 2026 to Monday, August 31, 2026
Holiday Operating Hours at City facilities for Easter: Friday, April 3, 2026 to Monday, April 6, 2026
Construction for the Council Chamber Renovation will commence on August 11, 2025 and will
continue until August 28, 2026. During this time, the Council Chamber will be closed.
Highway 401 Eastbound N/S–E ramp at Brock Road will be fully closed on March 29, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM to facilitate emergency concrete repairs. This closure is necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of the infrastructure. During this time, all lanes of the ramp will be unavailable, and motorists will be required to use alternate routes.
Purpose: To advise of parking disruptions during the month of April due to large scheduled events in the facility
Duration: April 8 & April 22, 2026
Westney Road between Seventh Concession Road and Eighth Concession Road. There will be intermittent lane reductions from 4395 Westney Road north to Eighth Concession Road.
