Program Cancellations and Service Disruptions

Please be advised that the Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee Meeting scheduled for
February 26, 2025 at 7:00 pm has been cancelled, as there are no matters for consideration.

The City's Information Technology Department will be perforing essential maintenace and updates to the phone system tonight starting at 10:30 pm.

Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex is a designated Warming Centre during cold weather warnings.

Notice of Closure of all City of Pickering Facilities, Programs, Classes & Services February 16

Purpose: Cancellation of programs at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex Pool for a swim meet.

Duration: Friday, February 21, 2025 between 8:00 am-5:00 pm

All Aquafit and public/lane swim will be cancelled at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation
Complex Pool on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for a swim meet.

Purpose: Cancellation of all programs, classes and lessons at all City of Pickering Facilities.

Duration: Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 5:00 pm until Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 5:00 pm

Due to inclement weather, programs, classes and lessons at all City of Pickering Facilities will be
cancelled beginning at 5:00 pm today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 until Thursday, February 13, 2025
at 5:00 pm.

All Facilities will remain open at this time for regular hours to allow for use of other amenities.

Purpose: The in-person public open house will be shifted to a virtual format

Duration: Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Please be advised that, due to the forecasted storm, the Public Open House scheduled for this evening has been moved to a virtual format so that residents can safely participate without needing to travel.

The elevator at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex will be closed from Friday, February 7, 2025 from approximately 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in order to allow for service to the glass elevator shaft.
