Program Cancellations and Service Disruptions

The Esplanade South, south sidewalk from Valley Farm Road to the exit of the Civic Complex parking
lot is closed to facilitate degreasing and hazard remediation following the Pickering Rotary Ribfest
event.

This closure will remain in place until the area can be properly cleaned and restored to a safe
condition.

Pedestrians are advised to use the north sidewalk during this time.

Notice of Sideline 32 Closure between Hwy 7 and 7th Concession Road. 

Purpose: Closure due to film activity

The temporary road closure of Glenanna Road from the north limit of The Esplanade South has been extended to the north limit of The Esplanade North. In addition, the west sidewalk of Glenanna Road from Pickering Parkway to The Esplanade South will remain closed. 

Purpose: To facilitate the Installation of the Region of Durham’s watermain. 

Duration: Monday, June 22, 2026 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Please be advised that a small portion of the universal change room at the Chestnut Hill 
Developments Recreation Complex will be closed on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, to complete pre-air 
balancing testing for new HVAC equipment.
