Traffic and Parking By-law

The Engineering Services Department, Transportation and Traffic Section, evaluate, review, and draft Municipal By-laws related specifically to detailed locations in Pickering.

Who Enforces the Traffic and Parking By-laws?

The City employs Municipal Law Enforcement Officers who respond to complaints and enforce parking provisions under the City of Pickering By-laws. We also rely on the Durham Regional Police Services.

Enforcing by-laws enhances public relations, community education, and mobility within the transportation network as well as assists the police services.
